What You'll Do.
Greet and welcome guests promptly in a warm and friendly manner
escort them to their tables.
Thank and give fond farewell to guests conveying anticipation for their next visit.
Ensure prompt and courteous service throughout the meal
attending to guests' needs and preferences.
Provide menu information and answer questions about food and drinks.
Record transactions/orders in Point of Sales (POS) systems at the time of order.
Perform shift closing on the Point of sales (POS) terminal and tally cash and credit card settlements.
Ensure that the restaurant is always kept clean and organized
both at the front as well as the back of house areas.
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.; Communicate with the kitchen regarding any menu questions, as well as additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests.; Ability to build relationships, internally and externally, withing their department and between their department and the rest of the hotel.
