What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related quantitative field, Minimum of 10 years of experience in payment systems analysis, support, or operations within the banking or financial services industry, Understanding of various payment schemes (e. g. , SWIFT, FAST, GIRO, RTGS) and their operational flows, Proficiency in analyzing complex data sets and generating insightful reports, Experience with SQL for data querying and analysis, Familiarity with system monitoring tools and incident management processes, Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
What You'll Do.
Conduct in-depth analysis of payment system performance
identifying bottlenecks
Monitor and troubleshoot payment system incidents
providing timely resolution and escalation as required
Participate in the testing and deployment of new payment system features
Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and propose preventative measures
Stay abreast of industry trends
and emerging technologies in the payment landscape
Assist in the development and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans for payment systems
Provide support and training to end-users on payment system functionalities
Contribute to project planning and execution for payment system initiatives
