Eligibility Requirements

Ability to travel 60% in the market geography is required (when safe to travel), Must live in the East Region in one of these locations: CT, DE, DC, ME, MA, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, VT, VA, Must be authorized to work in the US unrestricted, Fully remote work environment with ability to travel domestically 10% of the time

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

10+ years of relevant experience, Bachelor's Degree, Current driver's license with clean MVR, 10+ years’ experience in retail, pharmacy operations (chain or independent), 3 -5 years’ experience in specific types of software system applications may be required, Business or finance knowledge, Pharmacy law and regulatory knowledge, Consultative skills/critical thinking, Ownership transfer process knowledge, Financial analysis, Banking and loan knowledge

Nice to Have

MBA degree a plus, Pharmacist License a plus, 2+ years McKesson experience preferred, 5+ years’ ownership transfer or brokerage experience preferred, Knowledge of loan amortizations or the ability to learn a plus, Knowledge of Income Statements, Balance Sheets and Tax Returns, Knowledge of state and federal regulations as they pertain to pharmacy operations, Understanding of 3rd party regulations (PBM Industry) and how it relates to Independent Pharmacy ownership, Small business M+A knowledge a plus, Salesforce. com knowledge

Gain new business and retain existing business

Facilitate ownership transfers

Match potential buyers and sellers

Consult on ownership transfer process

Arrange financing for ownership transfers

Create awareness of alternatives to selling to chain pharmacy

Plan and execute regional strategy

Increase number of successful ownership transfers

Serve as resource for field sales teams

Lead key region initiatives and priorities

Ensure smooth ownership transfer process

Determine McKesson team members for ownership transfer

Ensure successful closure of ownership transfers

Provide financing alternatives for potential buyers

Develop new sources of financing

Maintain accurate databases of buyers and sellers

Track ownership transfer activity

Provide strategic analysis of industry status

Develop and communicate strategies

Provide RxOwnership expertise

Support regional goals for successful ownership transfers

Provide consultative ownership transfer support

Evaluate and prioritize pharmacy attention

Attend industry events

Leverage relationships with field sales

Attend McKesson local sales meetings

Promote confidentiality

Facilitate tracking and reporting of program

Coordinate development with Analytics Team

Assist Start-Up Specialist team with start-up process

Provide expert advice on transition issues

Ensure field sales participation and ownership

Assist Start-Up Specialist team with due diligence

Engage with Brokers for services

Provide business valuation

Evaluate business plans for viability

Develop relationships with financial institutions

Understand pharmacy owner's P+L

Provide actionable feedback on efficiencies

Track all deals in the pipeline

Maintain list of potential consolidators

Track all start-up activity

Develop tactics to reduce losses

Increase acquisition of new business

Assist in development of goals and objectives

Develop training and presentation materials

Improve and enhance RxOwnership.com website

Host industry SME webinars

Develop preceptor programs

Encourage and execute junior partnership relationships

Ensure use of McKesson assets

Co-write articles on Pharmacy Ownership

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Work closely with state associations, pharmacy schools, buying groups and field sales; Work closely with the Field Sales Teams (PSC, DSA, VPS and AVP’s) of the Independent Segment and MCFS; Work closely with the VP of RxOwnership, CP&H (Community Pharmacy & Health), the AVP’s and the field sales teams; Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization across multiple business units; Ability to manage through influence and work cross functionally within the organization; Leverage relationships with field sales, brokers, and MCFS; Attend McKesson local sales meetings to promote the program and provide training and expertise for the field sales teams; Ensure McKesson field sales participates and owns the process; Work with other BUs to ensure use of McKesson assets
