What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management, or related field, Active PMP certification, 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, program management, or executive leadership within the Defense, Intelligence, or Government Contracting environment, Demonstrated experience managing complex portfolios, programs, or operational organizations, Experience leading operations and program execution within Defense and Intelligence contracting environments, including knowledge of EVM principles, FAR/DFARS requirements, and government acquisition processes, Demonstrated experience leading, developing, and managing high-performing teams, including mentoring leaders, driving accountability, and building organizational capability, Ability to thrive in a growth-oriented environment requiring flexibility, initiative, and a hands on approach to leadership, Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing executive-level decisions, Experience overseeing operational support functions such as IT, facilities, or enterprise services, Proven ability to drive operational execution, organizational scalability, and business performance, Experience supporting growth, capture, and transition activities, Excellent leadership, communication, and customer/stakeholder management skills, US Citizenship required, Active TS required, Ability to obtain SCI access

Location: Fairfax-based with 2-3 days in office and 2-3 days remote. Periodic travel may be required to customer sites, conferences, and company locations. Security Clearance: US Citizenship and active TS required; Active SCI preferred or the ability to obtain SCI access Certifications: Active PMP required Summary: The VP Operations & Programs is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team responsible for driving operational excellence, quality execution, and strategic growth across the company’s portfolio of Defense and Intelligence programs. This leader oversees program delivery, operational performance, organizational leadership, corporate IT infrastructure, and corporate facilities while ensuring alignment with company objectives, customer expectations, and contractual requirements. The role serves as a senior strategic advisor to executive leadership and is expected to influence decision-making, drive cross-functional outcomes, and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and government representatives.
