What They're Looking For.
Must Have
15+ years of progressive strategic sourcing leadership and related financial experience in a hospital and/or outpatient healthcare environment, knowledge of medical products, equipment, and manufacturers related to cardiology and vascular surgery, analytical ability to communicate spend, inventory, and utilization data services to enterprise leaders, Demonstrated influencer skills and ability to drive change with cross functional execution leadership
Nice to Have
MBA preferred, cardiac cath lab experience preferred
What You'll Do.
Lead enterprise strategic sourcing and site development plans
Ensure competitive procurement sourcing strategies
Manage cost savings and materials management best practices
Advance strategic sourcing
and supplier relationship management
Manage reporting and cost/value analysis activities
Manage key performance indicators related to purchasing
and vendor management
Communicate financial and performance measurements
Identify healthcare industry cost drivers
Develop efficient sourcing strategies
Develop contract negotiations
Develop performance guarantees and operations
Continuously improve systems
Ensure effective communication and collaboration
Create and deliver value creation
guidance and coaching
Maintain an engaged and productive partnering
Partner with Human Resources on employee relations issues
Collaborate with employees in the establishment of clear and concise development plans
Ensure succession planning and the advancement of future leaders
Develop company-wide function or corporate and/or organizational strategies and policies
Authorize their implementation
Interact internally and externally with executive level management
Interact with consultants and corporate leaders
Negotiate over extremely critical matters
Manage interaction with Presidents and CEO
Represent the organization to external customers
Influence long-term vision and strategy of corporate consequence
Provide technical guidance
Perform other related duties as assigned
