Nice to Have
Banking industry experience, ideally within large matrixed organisations, Deep knowledge of data governance frameworks, data risk management and regulatory expectations such as BCBS 239, Previous experience in implementing and operating data governance controls, Previous experience implementing risk and control frameworks within the context of data and records management, Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across business, technology and risk functions, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex data topics to diverse audiences, Proven track record of driving organisational change within data management and governance, risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology

Development and maintenance of a comprehensive data and records governance framework aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Monitoring data quality and records metrics and compliance with standards across the organization
Identification and addressing of data and records management risks and gaps
Development and implementation of a records management programme that ensures the proper identification
retrieval and disposal of records
Development and implementation of a data governance strategy that aligns with the bank's overall data management strategy and business objectives
Provision of Group wide guidance and training on Data and Records Management standard requirements
Conducting in-depth due diligence
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategies; Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management on functional and cross functional areas of impact and alignment; Seek out, build and maintain trusting relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders in order to accomplish key business objectives
Communication Scope
Provision of Group wide guidance and training on Data and Records Management standard requirements; Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex data topics to diverse audiences
Process & Methodology
Plan resources, budgets, and manage and maintain policies/ deliver continuous improvements and escalate breaches of policies/procedures, Lead collaborative, multi-year assignments and guide team members through structured assignments, Identify the need for the inclusion of other areas of specialisation to complete assignments

# **Job Description** **Purpose of the role** To develop, implement, and maintain effective governance frameworks for all data and records across the bank's global operations. **Accountabilities** * Development and maintenance of a comprehensive data and records governance framework aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards. * Monitoring data quality and records metrics and compliance with standards across the organization. * Identification and addressing of data and records management risks and gaps. * Development and implementation of a records management programme that ensures the proper identification, classification, storage, retention, retrieval and disposal of records. * Development and implementation of a data governance strategy that aligns with the bank's overall data management strategy and business objectives. * Provision of Group wide guidance and training on Data and Records Management standard requirements. **Vice President Expectations** * To contribute or set strategy, drive requirements and make recommendations for change.
