Demonstrated experience supporting young people with mental health and wellbeing challenges, Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in employment services, vocational rehabilitation, career development or a related field, Experience in career coaching or career planning support, Relationship-building skills and confidence engaging with employers and community partners, Excellent communication and presentation skills, Organisation and time management, Current state-based driver’s licence

Nice to Have

Local experience in Tasmania, Knowledge of the employment services sector, Knowledge of Centrelink, Knowledge of state and federal employment initiatives, Experience building productive business and employer relationships, Understanding of barriers young people face when accessing work and education opportunities

At the heart of this support is a multidisciplinary team working together to provide evidence-based, recovery-oriented care. Your role, your impact As a Vocational Specialist, you’ll walk alongside young people as they navigate employment and education pathways. You’ll provide tailored support to help them build confidence, secure meaningful work, and maintain long-term participation in vocational activities. Working within a collaborative team, you’ll connect with employers, co-design career plans, and advocate for young people’s strengths, making a real difference in their lives.
