It is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all North Carolinians, providing human service needs for special populations including individuals who are deaf, blind, developmentally disabled, and mentally ill, and helping poor North Carolinians achieve economic independence. **Description of Work** This position is located in Whiteville North Carolina (Columbus County). Key duties: * Administering, scoring, and interpreting an extensive variety of vocational interests, achievements, and psychological tests • Analyzing consumers' medical, psychological, socio-economic, vocational, and educational information • Developing a formal evaluation plan for each client • Conducting community-based assessments and making referrals for evaluation services to the consumer and the rehabilitation counselor(s) • Creating written reports outlining vocational aptitudes, interests, and abilities which are foundational to the vocational planning process • Gathering occupational resource information for better service deliverables • Participating in multi-disciplinary teams and committees for exchange of information and planning • Partnering with consumers and their family members, employers, school personnel, and other community agencies/contacts • Performing other duties as assigned **Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences** ## **Salary Grade Range $39,244 - $68,679** ## **Recruitment Range $39,244 - $53,962** ****Position is eligible for a hybrid-teleworking schedule to include weekly onsite work hours**** Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they mee
