What You'll Do.
Assess person's hopes
Provide supports for achievement
Ensure rights are protected and promoted
Assist in developing advocacy skills
Participate in advocacy efforts
Utilize personal advocates
Serve as resource for community services
Supervise people receiving services
Educate people receiving services
Monitor people receiving services
Maintain safe working environment
Practice safety procedures
Educate people on work procedures
Educate people on facility rules
Educate people on policies
Educate people on practices
Educate people on their rights
Facilitate positive relationships
Promote self-determination
Provide input into planning processes
Implement person's plan fully
Complete all required documentation
Complete daily progress notes
Complete communication log
Assist in maintaining records
Assist in maintaining attendance
Assist in maintaining check sheets
Assist in maintaining production sheets
Substitute in community
Assist new staff with orientation
Assist new staff with mentoring
Assist new staff with training
Assist current staff with orientation
