Requires independent judgment in the performance of the assigned duties. Patient Care Assistant Under supervision as an entry-level Patient Care Assistant, this role is responsible for providing direct patient care. The Patient Care Assistant participates in data collection, planning and implementation of patient care. Medical Assistant Co-Op, Care Now Under supervision as an entry-level Medical Assistant this role is responsible for providing direct patient care in an outpatient setting. The Medical Assistant’s primary responsibility is to assist in the delivery of health care management for the practice. This will include actively participating and supporting primary clinical teams. The Medical Assistant is a professional member of the interdisciplinary team and consistently demonstrates and promotes the values of the organization. The Medical Assistant will work with and receive supervision from the practice manager, physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
