Our work depends on a VMware Engineer joining our team to support Government activities in Sterling, VA or Annapolis Junction, MD. As a VMware Engineer supporting the Government, you will be responsible for physical/virtual platforms, server build deployments, server virtualization, hyperconverged platforms, etc. In this role, a typical day will include: * Thorough knowledge of hardware, software, and system architecture is required for this role. * Designs, implements, and maintains VMware vSphere cloud foundation infrastructure. * Evaluate existing network infrastructure and systems to determine business needs. * Develop and deploy customized VMware solutions for various platforms. * Make informed design decisions and gather all relevant requirements. * Produce comprehensive white papers that critically assess recent technological advancements and articulate how these innovations address customer needs and objectives in practical applications. * Oversee technology projects by managing both technical and administrative components. * Collab
