Full Job Description
Amazon's Device Design Team is a central creative studio responsible for creating exciting, AI-driven Alexa and UI experiences for flagship products, including Echo Show, Alexa Mobile, Fire TV, Fire Tablets and more. Are you interested in joining the team to lead Amazon’s next innovation? Fire TV is evolving. AI is changing how products are built and experienced, and design is central to shaping this shift. This role focuses on reshaping Fire TV into a system that feels coherent, expressive, and distinctly Amazon—one that can adapt, scale, and carry a clear point of view. What you will do: - Help Reshape Fire TV's design system into a coherent, scalable foundation that defines how vertical experiences are built. - Establish visual language and primitives—tokens, components, and patterns—that teams across Fire TV can use to build with quality. - Drive cross-disciplinary alignment, collaborating with product and engineering partenrs so design principles carry through into shipped experiences. - Help refine the product's expression—typography, layout, motion, and interaction. - Contribute to culture, helping raise the baseline of design quality and showing how thoughtful craft can scale across AI-driven contexts. What we're looking for: - A systems thinker who can evolve and scale Fire TV's design language across contexts and products. - A builder of foundations—able to translate visions into tokens, components, and patterns that others can use with confidence. - A collaborator who partners effectively with industrial design, product, engineering, and research to keep quality intact from concept to delivery. - A craftsperson who's able to elevate products beyond the functional into the expressive. Basic Qualifications: - 3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer experience - Have an available online portfolio - Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, ProtoPie, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar Preferred Quali
