What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field, Active state teaching license in Minnesota, and/or New Jersey in CTE-Computer Science grades 6-12, Experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings, Comfortable with the unique demands of a live online classroom, Confident and engaging on camera, Able to teach live for five (5) or more consecutive hours per day, every instructional day, Hands-on experience with online learning platforms, virtual instruction tools, and standard productivity software, Data-informed: know how to read student performance data and use it to adjust live instruction, Excellent communicator, in writing and verbally, Highly organized and self-directed, Time management skills to independently manage a full student caseload in a remote environment, Committed to own professional growth, maintaining certification and staying current on K-12 curriculum, technology, and best practices, Integrity, warmth, and a deep belief that every student can succeed
