Must Have
Valid State Counselor license, Bachelor’s degree, 1 year previous experience in counseling, Experience with K-12 online learning, Experience with Local, State, and Federal laws, Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Proficiency in Google Suite Products, Ability to handle confidential information, Ability to manage difficult situations, Ability to make evidence-based decisions, Ability to work well under pressure, Ability to prioritize tasks, Ability to execute tasks, Ability to meet deadlines, Ability to work independently, Ability to contribute to a team, Ability to pass federal criminal background checks, Ability to pass state criminal background checks

About the Team OHDELA (Ohio Distance and Electronic Learning Academy) is a tuition-free, K-12 online school dedicated to transforming education through a state-of-the-art virtual experience. We offer a flexible, standards-aligned curriculum delivered by highly qualified teachers, providing 24/7 access to learning. As a premier online academy, we tailor our instruction to meet the unique needs of every student—from advanced learners to those seeking a safe, bully-free environment. We are seeking a highly qualified School Counselor who is dedicated to fostering the social, emotional, and academic development of every student! At ACCEL Schools, we leverage a cutting-edge 21st-century support framework, delivering comprehensive counseling services through innovative online platforms and traditional outreach methods to ensure no student navigates their journey alone. The School Counselor supports overall student success by partnering with staff members and families to inform student specific academic programming, create and maintain graduation and career plans, and provide proactive and preventative services.
