Must Have
Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area, Knowledge of State Standards, Knowledge of Common Core Standards, Ability to stand for up to 90 minutes, Ability to supervise students in all school settings, Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks
Nice to Have
Two years' experience teaching, Experience working in a multi-cultural setting
What You'll Do.
Serve as teacher of record
Primary instructor in high school math
Meet goals for student achievement
Meet goals for school culture
Meet state academic accountability goals
Deliver live lessons via web conference
Complete course set up
Monitor student progress in asynchronous courses
Provide feedback on assignments
Grade assignments daily
Track student progress
Maintain contact with each student
Create and deliver Progress Reports of Students
Review student level data
Differentiate instruction to meet needs
Utilize research-based best practices
Create a joyful classroom environment
Integrate culturally responsive teaching practices
Implement school-wide culture expectations
Communicate regularly with families
Incorporate 21st century technology skills
Participate in planning non-instructional activities
Attend non-instructional activities in person
Collaborate and communicate effectively
Travel to support state testing
Perform other duties as assigned
