What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Current and unrestricted license to practice as a credentialed veterinary technician, At least 3 years’ experience working as a credentialed veterinary technician in a clinical setting, Written communication skills, Ability to demonstrate empathy for and patience and understanding with clients under difficult circumstances, Comfort using technology and communicating clearly via text/chat messaging, Demonstrated passion for excellent client service and accurate, quality medical outcomes, Availability to work 40 hours per week, Nights, weekends/holiday coverage is required, Ability to work different shifts to ensure live chat coverage 24/7, Ability to make decisions independently, problem solve, and take the initiative, Comfort with autonomy, Ability to exercise self-discipline and accountability, Hardwired internet connection with a minimum speed of 85mbs, Quiet, dedicated work space, Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time, Mental processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics and language ability, Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form, Ability to solve problems involving several variables

What You'll Do.
Act as direct contact for clients seeking advice
Provide excellent experience to clients
Make clients feel valued and affirmed
Provide sound and relevant medical guidance
Help with other administrative-related queries
Receive and respond to live chats from VCA
Determine responses based on inquiries
Obtain brief patient history
Gather triage information
Deliver appropriate medical guidance
Make recommendations on education or potential home care
Document client / patient needs and medical considerations
Field administrative client chats
Respond to queries related to billing / invoicing
accurate and appropriate terminology when conversing
Seek and communicate opportunities to provide better client
Attend team meetings or review recordings
Read emails pertaining to live chat protocols
