What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's Degree in Energy Management, Petroleum Land Management, Business Administration, or related field, Three (3+) years of progressive Land experience with at least two (2+) of those being in-house, Three (3+) years of demonstrated experience working with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook, High-level understanding of Land and exploration and production issues, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
Nice to Have
Permian Basin landman experience, Member of AAPL, Aptitude to apply strategic thinking skills to identify and evaluate logically and creatively various factors that can have a current and future business impact, Ability to operate both independently and as part of a team, Solid attention to detail and flexibility regarding workload and priorities while also maintaining commercial awareness and a broader view of a business situation, Solid organizational and time management skills with a proven track record of being able to problem solve and think creatively, Self-starter requiring minimal supervision
What You'll Do.
Manage assigned geographic area
Oversee mineral interests
Oversee royalty interests
Review production volumes
Review leasehold obligations
Calculate net revenue interest
Negotiate mineral leases
Negotiate surface use agreements
Negotiate other contracts
Maintain accurate ownership data
Provide guidance to land support staff
