Extensive experience in financial restructuring, workout processes, recoveries gained across more than one credit cycle, multiple institutions, Demonstrated track record representing your institution in substantial multi-bank or creditor syndicate transactions, complex restructurings or recoveries, Proven ability to manage transactions across a wide range of industries and sectors, multiple EMEA jurisdictions, various insolvency tools, Expertise in making balanced recommendations that inform critical credit decisions, background in assessing legal documentation, waivers, lender consent requests, restructuring agreements, related amendments, Deep understanding of credit principles, risk frameworks, structured finance products, legal documentation requirements, insolvency regulations, Experience engaging effectively with cross-regional stakeholders, internal teams, external advisors, law firms, financial consultants, Advanced analytical skills for evaluating borrower performance, financial statement analysis, 13-week cash flows, trading performance reviews, turnaround plan assessments, default analysis, repayment ability evaluations under different scenarios, valuation/recovery analysis preparation for impairment ratings or credit cost determination, Excellent communication skills, ability to articulate clear messages, sense of calm approach, sound structured attention to relationship-building, outstanding interpersonal skills

Shape recommendations for credit decisions

Engage with borrowers and stakeholders

Negotiate favourable outcomes

Assess complex financial situations

Communicate with senior leaders

Maintain relationships

Support portfolio monitoring initiatives

Participate in early warning assessments

Prepare updates for senior management

Compile recommendations on strategies

Protect bank's exposure

Consult with risk functions

Ensure robust risk management

Negotiate lender consent requests

Negotiate restructuring or amendment legal documentation

Prepare credit papers

Present communications to internal committees

Liaise with other risk functions

Support regional credit risk management

Represent Special Credits EMEA at internal forums
