Must Have
7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience, In-depth/Expert knowledge of mortgage and credit portfolio management, In-depth understanding of the real estate and mortgage lending process, investment and insurance products, and applicable regulatory requirements, In-depth/Expert knowledge of the competitive marketplace and trends in mortgage sales, In-depth/Expert project and time management, In-depth/Expert experience with change management, Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth / Expert, Analytical and problem solving skills - In-depth / Expert, Influence skills - In-depth / Expert, Collaboration & team with a focus on cross-group collaboration - In-depth / Expert, Able to manage ambiguity, Data driven decision making - In-depth / Expert
What You'll Do.
Manage people and lead a team
Assess marketplace and competition opportunities
Develop and maintain a business plan
Act as a key BMO representative
Address customer service issues
Manage risk to minimize losses
Identify and share best practices
Provide strategic input into business decisions
Make recommendations to senior leaders
Act as a subject matter expert
Manage resources and lead execution
Develop the business case
Recommend business priorities
Lead change management programs
Lead the development of communication strategy
Identify performance enhancement opportunities
Lead the execution of operational assesses
Lead / participate in process design
Engage with third party realtors
Sell real estate lending and insurance products
Verify mortgage approvals
Participate in projects to improve customer experience
Liaise between clients and departments
Complete all necessary transactional documentation
Ensure adherence to code of business conduct
Act in accordance with regulatory requirements
Follow security and safeguarding procedures
Protect the Bank’s assets
Understand risks and take appropriate actions
Maintain the confidentiality of customer and Bank information
Operate at a group/enterprise-wide level
Apply expertise to address unique situations
Implement changes in response to shifting trends
