This role leads the Enterprise Data Engineering Chapter, setting standards, developing talent, and ensuring consistent, high-quality data engineering practices across all business-aligned delivery teams. Operating within CIBC’s agile-at-scale model, this role drives consistency and promotes standardized best practices for data engineers embedded in product and delivery teams, ensuring the application of consistent engineering patterns, reliability practices, and governance-by-design. The role partners closely with the Data Platforms organization and is a foundational enabler of trusted analytics, AI, and enterprise decision-making.
