Must Have
Minimum 2 years experience as Technician, Anesthesia experience required, Proficiency in processing basic laboratory specimens, Working knowledge of anatomy and physiology, Understand normal vs abnormal physiologic ranges, Commitment to help mentor and train veterinary assistants, Ability to work well in a highly collaborative environment, Commitment to develop long-term relationships, Honesty, integrity, and a desire to learn, Excellent communication skills, Excellent organizational skills, Ability to deliver exceptional client service, Authorized to work in the U.S., Speak, read, and write English proficiently
Nice to Have
CVT/LVT/RVT preferred, Experience with anesthetic monitoring preferred, Additional fluency in other languages preferred
What You'll Do.
Assist with general anesthesia
Assist with sedated procedures
Calculate medical math
Institute fluid therapy
Position appropriately for radiographs
Understand radiation safety
compassionate care for hospitalized patients
Administer transfusions
Maintain accurate treatment sheets
Maintain anesthesia records
Understand capnography
Understand pulse oximetry
Understand blood pressure monitoring
Prepare blood samples for diagnostic testing
Provide client education on at home care
