Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced **Registered Veterinary Technician**(RVT) to join our **Intensive Care Unit**(ICU) at **VCA Orange County Veterinary Specialists**. **Location:** 3021 Edinger Ave, Tustin, CA 92780 **Schedule:** Full-Time, 4 days, 10-hour shifts, swing, late swing, or overnight **Salary:** $ 25 - $ 30 /hour We may be part of a big company, but we are a close-knit work family. This will include at least one weekend day (unless you are a glittery unicorn that really, really wants to work Saturdays AND Sundays, which we would be happy to accommodate). Duties will include: * Maintaining medical records. * Preparing for and performing procedures and treatments. * Preparing medications and prescriptions. * Communicating in person and on the phone with clients. * Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging. * Assisting in procedures. * Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for hospitalized pets. * Assisting in other areas of the hospital, as needed.
