# Veterinary Technician, RVT ## ## ## Location: Peterborough, ON ## Employment Type: Regular Full-time ## Job Status: Existing ## Compensation: $19.00 to $38.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience ## **Jackson Creek Animal Hospital** is welcoming a **Veterinary Technician (or RVT)** to join our team of skilled veterinary professionals. While our network is large, we still offer that local community feeling, mentorship, and additional training! * Ability to problem-solve or the ability to ask clarifying questions to help you find solutions. * Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues and pet parents. * The primary role of the RVT is to provide quality patient care by assisting the Veterinarian and staff of the clinic/hospital. * Have completed a Veterinary Technician or Animal Health Technician program. * New graduates with knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy - welcome to apply!
