Minimum of 1 year experience as a Veterinary Technician or Assistant
What You'll Do.
Assist in the triage of incoming patients
assessing their condition and prioritizing care
Restrain and handle animals safely during examinations and procedures
Collect and analyze laboratory samples
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures
such as X-rays and ultrasounds
Provide nursing care for medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability
Administer medications as prescribed by veterinarians
Prepare animals and equipment for surgical procedures
Assist in anesthetic management during surgeries
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
