# Veterinary Reception, Client Care # ## Location: Vancouver, BC ## Compensation: $18-$20 per hour, depending on skills and experience. ## Position: Part-time ## **Yaletown Animal Hospital** is growing! We are currently welcoming a**Veterinary Reception Client Care** to join our dynamic team! This **part-time** opportunity is two 10-hour shifts a week, and has the potential to grow into a full-time position in future. **One weekend day** will be included in this schedule. The CSR role includes a range of responsibilities that directly contribute to the efficient and effective daily operation of the hospital. Your primary responsibility is to ensure our clients and their pets feel welcomed, expertly cared for, and appreciated! Additional responsibilities and qualities required for this role are: * Create a warm and welcoming environment for our patients and pet parents * Create and maintain client and patient records effectively * Reliably document all interactions in the patient's records * Ability to answer a multiline phone system * Track and schedule appointments effectively * Placing outbound calls to pet parents for follow-up * Respond and manage email and text correspondence * Invoicing, billing, and processing payments * General housekeeping duties; cleanliness of client-facing areas and common areas * Willingness to learn more regarding veterinary services, updated medical office procedures and assisting the Veterinary staff with various tasks * Previous customer service or front desk experience in hospitality is an asset! * **Must be flexible and available to work shift work (early as 7:30 AM and late as 7:30 PM), weekdays, and weekends.** * Previous veterinary experience or graduation from an accredited Veterinary Assistant/Veterinary Office Assistant program is preferred **What VCA Canada Offers** * **RRSP Employer 5 % Match Program** – saving for your future just got easier! * **VCA Canada RRSP Student Loan** \- Ask us more! * A caring culture of **Welln
