current Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) licensure in the State of Ohio or be eligible for licensure, Prior clinical experience, 4 years of relevant experience
Nice to Have
demonstrated interest or experience in inventory management, equipment coordination, or hospital operations, 4-8 years of relevant experience
What You'll Do.
supporting the daily operational functions of the hospital
supply chain management
equipment coordination
maintaining appropriate inventory levels
supporting procurement processes
coordinating equipment use
oversight of supply ordering
monitoring and adjusting par levels
managing backorders and substitutions
working with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of supplies
maintaining organization and functionality of supply areas
supporting standardization efforts
identifying opportunities to improve inventory control processes
supporting daily hospital operations and workflow optimization
assistance with financial reconciliation
other routine operational functions that support the overall efficiency and accuracy of hospital processes
identifying operational inefficiencies
support implementation of process improvements
ensure resources are appropriately allocated to meet patient care needs
serves as a first point of contact for client concerns and disputes
liaison between clinical teams and hospital leadership
providing insight into day-to-day operational challenges
assisting with the implementation of new initiatives
and process improvements
data tracking and reporting related to inventory usage
and operational efficiency
