Founded by husband-and-wife team Dr. William Kolesar and Julie Kolesar, LVT, our practice was built on a shared passion for animals, a deep connection to our community, and a mission to provide high-quality veterinary care for everyone who walks through our doors—no matter how furry or feathered. We’re a small animal practice serving canines, felines, and small exotics with a wide range of services including wellness care, diagnostics, elective and orthopedic surgeries, and illness visits. Our compassionate and highly skilled team takes pride in going the extra mile for our patients, and the people who love them. WHAT LIFE IS LIKE AT NORTHWOODS: Nestled in a college town that’s just “two hours from everything,” life at Northwoods blends a rewarding veterinary career with a true work-life balance. No weekends: We’re closed Saturday and Sunday. Community connection: We work closely with local rescues and stay involved in community events.
