Valid Driver’s License with a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets the Business Driving standards., May be required to have a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) certified by US Coast Guard, Local Boating Certificate(s), state specific HAZWOPER certification including required refresher certificates, passport., Should have or be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid, Marine Crane Operator Certification and Cold-Water Survival Certificates.

**POSITION SUMMARY:** Inspects vessels and peripheral equipment prior to voyage to ensure efficient, safe operation and conformance to regulations and company policies. Utilizes navigational equipment, weather forecasts and tide/current predictions to ensure the overall safety of vessel and crew. Operates vessel, when safe to do so, in oceans, bays, lakes, rivers or coastal waters as directed by supervisor. Works with supervisor to adjust float and work plan according to developing environmental conditions.
