What You'll Do.
Planning and execution of loading and unloading of container ships
Monitoring of operations during the entire port call
Monitoring terminal operations systems
Coordination of equipment
Enforcement of safety requirements
Planning and execution of loading and unloading sequences to meet productivity targets per quay crane
Ensuring efficient planning with focus on ship stability and safety
Monitoring and adjusting the execution of ship operations while the ship is at berth
Keeping terminal operations systems and administration updated
Ensuring all necessary equipment is ready and correctly positioned before operation start
Optimizing the utilization of all equipment and minimizing idle time by allocating resources efficiently
Monitoring the terminal area to ensure safety standards are met
Contributing to 'on the job training' of colleagues
Supporting improvement initiatives
