Versatile Technologist (Mid-Level, Senior or Lead) **Company:** The Boeing Company **Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS**) is searching for a self-motivated **Versatile Technologist (Mid-Level, Senior or Lead)** to support end-to-end solutions in a growing portfolio that provides operations and engineering improvements of mission-critical systems in a dynamic real-time operations environment for the Mission Systems Operations Team located in **Herndon, VA.** As a member of the Mission Systems Operations Team, you are an integral part in developing hardware and software solutions for proprietary programs for our client. We translate customer needs into detailed requirements for system integrated designs including system architectures for current operations and program growth, facility design, hardware selection, software selection/development, system integration, testing and operations/maintenance. **Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:** * Analyzes computing requirements * Leads a multidisciplinary range of technical systems and application activities * Leads activities to install, configure and maintain multi-platform systems hardware, software and components * Leads activities to plan, develop, design, integrate and maintain all computer applications * Plans and coordinates highly complex software and hardware for enterprise release * Ensures systems conform with architectural objectives * Evaluates complex system's production readiness and supportability * Performs complex system problem identification and resolution * Leads activities to integrate security solutions into information systems * Integrate security solutions into information systems * Experience in both Windows and Linux administration, or one with the ability to learn * Performs initial assessments of feasibility of architecture solutions and alternatives * Performs initial assessment of product suitability for integration into delivery system environments **Basic Qu
