Full Job Description
**Do work that matters:** CommBank’s Chief Operations Office (COO) is looking for Verification Officers to join our Retail Operations business, based in Sydney or Perth. Retail Operations delivers high-quality, efficient services across the end-to-end retail lending lifecycle. Retail Operations span credit decisioning, settlements, and customer support for products including home loans, personal loans and credit cards —servicing both CBA and Bankwest brands **The Role** This role will see you responsible for the Verification and Assessment of Secured Home Loan Customer Applications. These will be received via the Third-Party Channel. You will ensure accurate and effective verification of home loan applications that are made in a consistent, efficient, timely manner and delivering excellent customer service. This includes verifying creditworthiness by reviewing income and liabilities, conducting ID checks, and assessing payslips and bank statements to confirm loan serviceability or eligibility This is a highly operational role where accuracy is paramount and will include checking and working with third party channel providers to ensure we have everything required for the loan. You will be required to work in the office at least 50% of the time during the training period (first two months). After this 10% in-office connection is required.
