What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Academic Master’s degree in a relevant field e. g. , biomedical engineering, robotics, minimally invasive technologies, etc., Experience in a fast-moving project-based environment that requires quick turnaround timelines., Ability to dive deeply and quickly into unfamiliar technology areas and translate complex technical concepts into non-technical informative summaries., Ability to evaluate technologies within their financial, economic, or commercial contexts., Ability to evaluate substantial amounts of information quickly and effectively, draw conclusions, and make decisions with imperfect information., Ability to communicate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders (including physicians, scientists, industry players, investors, licensing/commercial specialists)., Curious, out-of-the-box thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset., Fluent in English.
Nice to Have
Background in the healthtech sector, either in an early-stage or growth venture, with a venture builder, or VC., Familiar with medical device product development pathways, regulated environment manufacturing, and/or healthtech strategy., Open to relocating to the Netherlands., Experience in surgical environments.

Support in setting up licensing term sheets.
Select the right CEO for the venture.
Ensure a smooth setup of new ventures.
Grow knowledge of needs and trends in the Surgery cluster.
Foster an ecosystem of diverse experts.
Support minimally invasive surgery and neurotech ventures.
Continuously improve the quality
and efficiency of the NLC venture building process.
