Implement and optimize distributed firewall policy, micro-segmentation controls, and east-west traffic security models. Administer and tune load balancing services for application delivery, resiliency, and service availability. Manage physical data center fabric components, including BGP peering, routing design, failover behavior, and switch policy standards. Coordinate network dependencies with platform engineering, storage, security, and automation teams. Contribute to integration of networking with broader VCF platform tooling, such as lifecycle operations, automation workflows, and service consumption patterns. Support planning for WAN handoff architecture, site connectivity models, and service boundary design with campus/WAN teams. Participate in implementation of private cloud connectivity patterns, including secure interconnect and hybrid connectivity use cases. Create and maintain standards, design documentation, implementation procedures, and operational runbooks. Schedule & Presence:  This on-site role supports 24/7 operations through real-time collaboration, standard shifts occur within a 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM window, Monday through Friday.  Additionally, this position requires scheduled on-call flexibility and the ability to remain reasonably reachable during off-hours for critical business continuity.
