What You'll Achieve.
Hit pipeline target: minimum 3 qualified deals presented to IC per quarter, scaling to 5 in Q3-Q4; Build proprietary deal flow over time; Ensure SPV closes cleanly; Set the bar for analyst-level hires in memo quality, model rigor, and process discipline
Industry & Context.
Pressure-test founder assumptions; Address challenges in deal processes and SPV execution
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3 to 5 years of full-time experience in venture capital, growth equity, private equity, investment banking (TMT, healthcare, or fintech), or a strategic-finance role at a high-growth startup, Led diligence on at least one deal that closed, Can build a financial model from a blank tab - cohort analyses, LTV/CAC, scenario builds, cap-table waterfalls, dilution math - without a template
Nice to Have
Direct experience underwriting AI infrastructure, robotics, longevityiotech, or digital-asset deals, Fluency in tokenomics, on-chain metrics, and crypto cap-table structures, CFA, MBA, or equivalent credential, Network across Tier-1 VC funds, angel syndicates, or family offices, Prior exposure to SPV mechanics, Reg D 506(c) compliance, or QSBS / Section 1202, Operating background - you’ve built or scaled something yourself before going into investing
What You'll Do.
Run deal processes end-to-end: initial screen through diligence
Source deals independently
Review inbound deals and triage opportunities against investment thesis
Maintain the deal tracker
Build proprietary deal flow
Lead diligence on specific deals
Build financial models and pressure-test assumptions
Produce institutional-quality investment memos
Co-present deals to the Investment Committee
Track post-IC actions
Coordinate with outside counsel on SPV formation and compliance
Support the deal product (term sheets
distribution mechanics)
Project-manage the close
Support Roundtable preparation
Produce deal summaries and portfolio updates for members
Mentor and review the work of analyst-level hires
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work alongside the Director of Investments; Regular exposure to the Investment Committee; Coordinate with outside counsel; Liaise with members through the Director of Community; Mentor and review the work of analyst-level hires
Communication Scope
Write well; Produce clear and rigorous written content (investment memos, deal summaries, portfolio updates); Present deals to Investment Committee; Communicate effectively with accredited investors and operators
Process & Methodology
Manage deal processes end-to-end, Project-manage the SPV close, Track post-IC actions, Maintain deal tracker with full stage, status, and IC decision history
