Must Have
Graduate of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program, Active certification by ARDMS in RVT, Current CME compliance, Maintain superior diagnostic imaging, Excellent patient and people skills, Great knowledge in human cross section anatomy, Great knowledge in proper positioning skills, Great knowledge in scanning techniques, High knowledge with variety of routine procedures, High knowledge with variety of applications, Maintain continuing education credits, Maintain professional licenses, Must be flexible to travel to at least 3 sites

What You'll Do.
Follow physicians’ orders
Conform to regulations
Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures
Assist patients for ultrasound procedures
Obtain essential information from patients
Obtain essential information from medical records
Obtain essential information from previous scans
Verify proper patient identification
Route studies to PACS
Help patient transfer to sono exam table
Ensure adequate immobilization
Perform patient care tasks
Remove excess gel from patient
Operate equipment to acquire imaging results
Obtain diagnostic sonographic images
Scan appropriate body part of patient
Maintain daily log of patients seen
Monitor patient reaction to treatment
Monitor changes in physical status
Monitor changes in mental status
Report changes to appropriate person
Provide patient care with dignity
Provide patient care with respect
Educate patients about procedures
Educate patients about Biopsy procedures
Practice sterile technique
Prevent cross contamination
