Performs non-invasive diagnostic vascular imaging procedures using ultrasound technology to assist physicians in diagnosing and managing vascular conditions.
Performs vascular ultrasound examinations using approved protocols to capture high-quality diagnostic images of arteries
and other vascular structures.
Obtains relevant clinical history from patient interviews
or medical records to support accurate diagnostic imaging.
Reviews and correlates prior imaging studies and patient history to optimize exam quality and relevance.
Documents and records all pertinent anatomical and pathological findings in accordance with physician and department standards.
Presents clinical findings and preliminary impressions to the interpreting physician to support diagnostic decisions.
Maintains and operates ultrasound equipment
ensuring functionality
and readiness in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.
Maintains a safe and infection-controlled environment
applying proper procedures in accordance with hospital policy.
