## **Company :** Allegheny Health Network ## **Job Description :** **GENERAL OVERVIEW** Performs and reports all required vascular ultrasound and clinical evaluations at a technical level as ordered by Physician. **ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES** * Conducts individualized patient assessment in accordance with ordered vascular procedure. Performs vascular testing utilizing testing/ultrasound equipment. Provides patient education regarding testing procedures and vascular disease process. (65%) * Provides a preliminary interpretation of vascular testing completed. Determines and completes proper notification of the test result to the patient's physician and/or vascular physician. Maintains records in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements. (25%) * Participates in educational activities for patients and in-services for both external/internal personnel and the community. Attends meetings as required. (5%) * Performs maintenance, tests accuracy/safety, and reports malfunctions of the vascular lab equipment.
