What You'll Do.
Preparation of portfolio company valuations
Collection and analysis of portfolio company data
Investment track record analysis
Internal information gathering
Collation of portfolio data
Gathering of relevant market comparables
Valuation model building
Preparation of valuation papers
Commentary on trading performance
Justification for selected valuation methodology and selected input
Commentary on triangulation
Preparation of materials required to support the valuation sign-off process
Filing and audit trails
Supporting on the audit and fund administration processes
Preparation of regular analysis on fund performance and underlying drivers
Preparation of various analysis needed for marketing and financial reporting
Day-to-day execution and ongoing enhancement of all ventures valuations workstreams
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Engage with investment managers to understand valuation drivers, investment thesis, and company performance; Work with finance and operations teams to produce internal and LP reporting, Annual Reports, and other material for stakeholder management; Organise preliminary and review meetings with stakeholders; Attend Valuation Committee meetings; Support the valuation sign-off process for the Valuation Committee, the Fund Board and the auditors
Communication Scope
Commentary on trading performance; Justification for selected valuation methodology and selected input; Additional commentary on triangulation
Process & Methodology
Project management of the valuation process, Organising preliminary and review meetings, Minute taking of portfolio review meetings
