Industry & Context.
Must be able to work weekends, Open availability, Regularly required to talk or hear, Frequently required to sit or stand for extended periods of time, May be required to walk; handle or feel objects, tools or reach with hands and climb balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects, Majority of work will be performed outdoors for extended periods of time including up to the entire duration of shift, Subject to environmental conditions including extreme heat and cold weather, Travel of up to 5% may be required
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work, or within a commutable distance from the state you are applying to work, Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, Ability to read and write standard English language, Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos, Ability to write simple correspondence, Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees of the organization, Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s; ability to perform these operations using units of American money, Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems, Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed, Perform parallel parking
Nice to Have
Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
What You'll Do.
Provide exceptional hospitality services to guests
Park and retrieve guest vehicles in a prompt yet safe manner
Assist guests with luggage
including delivery and pick up
friendly and professional demeanor
Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet
Use guest last names during interactions
Use salutation of the day and welcome guests
Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
Drive vehicles slowly and cautiously
Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
Assist guests with directions
reservations and other inquiries
Provide guests with information about outlets
meeting rooms and/or amenities
items and/or guest amenities
Shuttle guests to appropriate places
Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys
Collect claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys
Complete and maintain all ticket information
Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles
