What You'll Do.
Parking service for patients and visitors at their assigned entrance to the campus buildings.
Transport employees and guests on the Avera McKennan Campus via Courtesy shuttle services.
Greet and direct patients and visitors arriving at the facility to their destination while creating a positive image of the organization.
Operate guest’s vehicle in a safe manner and make sure the vehicle is locked after parking it in the designated area.
Keep the front clear of vehicles by not allowing any long-term parking for any reason and keep count of cars parked in designated valet areas.
Prepare valet parking reports daily and log incidents that occur.
Keep supervisor informed of needs
Report parking violations to the security officer.
Alert security to any crimes or act of vandalism that may occur to vehicles.
Physically assist those exiting from their vehicle if they need it due to limited mobility
Determine urgency of situations
calm patients if necessary and make appropriate referrals.
Safely transport patients
and guests on Avera McKennan campus.
Operate the courtesy shuttle vehicle in a safe manner following all traffic laws and make sure the vehicle is locked after parking it in the designated area at the end of the scheduled shift.
Ensure that the vehicle is clean
and presents in a professional manner.
Ensure that the vehicle is filled with gas and oil
maintain records on a daily log
and complete the mileage documentation.
