U. S. citizen, U. S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U. S. Departments of State or Commerce, working with potentially dangerous elements or conditions such as chemicals, high voltage/high current, moving mechanical parts, high pressure gases, hazardous gases, radiation, etc., work in a yellow-light cleanroom environment wearing full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), work in confined areas in a clean room environment, in awkward positions and at heights, Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds, May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing, May require the use of personal protection equipment

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Minimum five years’ experience including equipment troubleshooting, modifications and improvements in semiconductor type industry on vacuum deposition/etch systems, steppers, coaters and bonders, attention to detail, Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics, Must have a mechanical aptitude, Prior experience in maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and improvements, electro-mechanical troubleshooting abilities, Knowledge of commonly used business and technical software, Ability to use intermediate math skills to analyze data, Prior experience repairing equipment in a cleanroom environment, Ability to work in a yellow-light cleanroom environment wearing full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Ability and willingness to follow strict written operational guidelines, Excellent customer interface skills are required, Ability to work in confined areas in a clean room environment, in awkward positions and at heights, Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds, May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing, May require the use of personal protection equipment

Nice to Have

three years’ experience in the semiconductor field with associate’s degree in electronics, engineering, or other related field of study or Military Equivalent preferred, PLC experience a plus, Understanding of PVD, IBD, ALD and RIE processes and motivation to help improve the area, Knowledge of managing installation and de-commissioning projects within production or Research and Development (R&D) environments, including familiarity with architectural drawings and building control software, Experience on Applied Materials Centura/Endura systems, ASML steppers, EVG bonders

What You'll Do.

Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process

and assemble equipment according to layout plans

operating or repair manuals

rough sketches or drawings

Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts

Rebuild manufacturing equipment as required

Perform equipment modifications as necessary

Develop improvements to increase reliability of older equipment and increase performance of newer equipment

Perform routine scheduled and unscheduled equipment maintenance with ownership of preventative and corrective maintenance activities for the vacuum process area

Collect data and perform analysis of required work

Identify technical problems and implement solutions as appropriate

Troubleshoot problems

Maintain records and reports as required

Order and install parts

Respond to emergency service calls as required

Perform upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed

Responsible for the upkeep

maintenance and security of company provided tools

Responsible for following proper industry safety procedures when working with potentially dangerous elements or conditions such as chemicals

Team & Collaboration

Collaborating with team members on complex equipment issues to minimize equipment downtime; Working closely with production engineering to support current production and achieve new development design tasks
