What You'll Do.
Operate cream processing
evaporators and dryer
Perform cream pasteurizing
condensing and drying
dryer and related equipment
Document accurate recordings of test results
Perform hand cleaning of parts
Perform clean-in-place operations
Perform dry cleaning on a daily basis
Know proper start up and shut down procedures
Maintain proper moisture and quality of product
fat and scorched particles
Enter test results in log sheet
Check inside of dryer for powder build up
Inform supervisor of any problems during CIP
Inspect sifter screen
Report concerns to supervisor
Clean evaporator and dryer
Clean condensed storage silos
Clean cream storage silos
Test CIP solution strengths
Log CIP solution strengths on CIP log
Service pumps and valves
Perform preventative maintenance on pumps and valves
Receive incoming milk and other products
Maintain clean and sanitary work area
Perform raw product load out
Perform other duties assigned by management
Receive all incoming products meeting standards
Take proper samples of incoming products
Monitor CIP system for chemical strengths
Monitor testing equipment
Replace testing equipment supplies
Ensure load out of raw products is within
Perform load out in efficient and sanitary manner
Maintain proper packaging of dry product
and stack 25kg bags and totes
Account for inventory produced
Observe machine operations for quality and conformity
Label and change sample bags on auto sampler
Monitor production line for problems
Inspect and remove defective products and packaging material
Change and seal unacceptable bags of powder
Maintain general cleanliness of packaging room and equipment
Maintain USDA inspection readiness
Understand filling equipment operation
Maintain pace consistent with packing line
Perform proper mixing and blending of butter
Maintain high level of sanitation and cleanliness
Observe churn operations for quality and conformity
Mix or blend ingredients for specified times
Weigh and measure materials

Collect samples of products for laboratory testing
Keep accurate and legible records
Monitor equipment for safe and efficient operation
Inspect and analyze butter samples
Make process adjustments
Maintain general cleanliness of butter room and equipment

Aid in training of new personnel
Perform load out and receiving of all products
Maintain chemical supplies at acceptable level
Maintain proper rotation of products

This includes Evaporator/Dryer, Packaging, Receiving, Churn Operator, Butter Packaging and Warehouse positions. **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** **Evaporator/Dryer Duties:** • Operate cream processing, evaporators and dryer in a safe, sanitary manner. • Operations include cream pasteurizing, condensing and drying of product, cleaning of cream pasteurizer, evaporator, dryer and related equipment, and documenting accurate recordings of test results while in operation. • Cleaning of the cream pasteurizer
