Must Have
8+ years commercial underwriting experience, Post-secondary education in Business or related discipline (or equivalent experience), technical underwriting expertise within large commercial risks, relationship management experience with brokers and clients in specialized markets, pipeline management and portfolio oversight experience

This role is based in Toronto, Ontario. We are seeking an Underwriting Specialist with strong industry experience in either construction or mining/renewable energy sectors to help expand our presence in the large, complex risk market. This is a newly created role within a specialized, industry-focused team, offering strong visibility, growth, and leadership opportunities. The successful candidate will play a critical role in underwriting complex risks and driving profitable growth across construction builders’ risk, operational construction, renewable energy, and mining portfolios, with a primary focus aligned to their area of expertise.
