Must Have
8+ years of experience in credit operations, underwriting, portfolio management, or collections, Experience with SMB credit, fintech lending products, credit cards, or capital products
Nice to Have
Prior experience in a highly regulated financial services, direct exposure to bank charter processes, regulatory examinations, or policy/procedure documentation, Data fluency is a plus, Curiosity about how AI tools can improve operational efficiency and reduce manual burden across credit workflows

Ensure day-to-day operations reflect written policy
Ensure collections practices are compliant
Define collections performance track
Identify improvements that reduce manual burden
Define and own the KPI framework
Lead credit memo and approval workflows
Own post-origination portfolio monitoring
Define and track portfolio health
Own escalation protocols and playbooks

Team & Collaboration
Partner with Legal and Compliance; Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Legal/Compliance; working across functions; hold your own in conversations with Engineering, Data Science, and Legal/Compliance; translate between them
