We are looking for an Underwriting Assistant to join our team. This hybrid position based out of Media, PA provides support to the underwriting process by gathering and analyzing data, organizing reports, performing administrative duties regarding new and renewal accounts, and assisting in the management of overall policies. **_Your Impact:_** * Scan/Save policy materials within the share drive, Employer Stop Loss (ESL) * Enter and/or research information into the ESL/DY system * Ensure complete and accurate data is entered in ESL/DY to support data collection and evaluation * Uses knowledge and independent judgment to determine eligibility of risks when compared to guidelines of programs available * Support the Underwriter in managing daily workflow, administrative, and clerical functions ** _Successful Candidate Will Have:_** * Minimum 1 year work experience, preferably in the Medical Stop Loss * BA/BS degree preferred * Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted underwriting practices ** _About One80:_** One80 Intermediaries is part of Arrowhead Intermediaries, a global insurance distribution platform that offers deep specialization, scale, and innovation across wholesale brokerage, program administration, and specialty insurance.
