What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3+ years of underwriting experience in private lending, non-QM, or similar BPL environments, Proficiency in DSCR loan analysis, Proficiency in RTL loan mechanics, Experience evaluating 1–4 unit investment properties, Experience evaluating residential collateral standards, Familiarity with entity structures (LLCs, Corporations, Trusts), analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, High attention to detail, risk-management mindset, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven, high-volume environment
Nice to Have
Experience with Loan Origination Systems (e.g., LendingWise, Encompass, Salesforce, or custom LOS platforms), Experience working with brokers, Experience with investor guidelines
