Must Have
18 years or older, Currently enrolled in a full time Bachelor’s Degree program from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent, Completion of one year of study from an accredited from an accredited college or university prior to the internship commencing, Enrolled in a full time Bachelor’s degree program following the potential internship or co-op assignment with an accredited college or university, Must not be employed at the time the internship starts
Nice to Have
Degree concentration(s) in Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline, Able to work for two consecutive four months terms (8 months total), General knowledge of cell biology, immunology, biochemistry & molecular biology, Previous lab experience, completion of previous co-op term(s), or internship experience, Experience with mammalian cell culture, transfection, and flow cytometry, High attention to detail and ability to comply with written procedures, written and oral communications skills, Ability to function effectively as part of a team, Excellent organizational, record keeping and time management skills

Learn and apply basic and modern lab techniques
Participate in the development of novel experiments
Utilize advanced fit-for-purpose laboratory instruments
Application of the knowledge from researching literature to experiments
data analysis/documentation
