Must Have
At least 21 years of age, High school degree or equivalent, Valid state driver’s license, Valid Texas Level II Guard License, Professional demeanor and appearance, Basic computer skills, Able to multitask and prioritize, Minimum of one year customer service experience, Minimum of one year security experience, Able to pass pre-employment screening, Crawling, crouching, climbing stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping, walking for extended periods

Previous experience as a security officer, Previous experience as a security guard, Previous experience in other safety and protection related fields, Previous experience in customer service roles
What You'll Do.
Conduct vehicle and foot patrols
Identify potential safety and security risks
Maintain a visible presence
Engage in professional public interactions
Document all interactions in written report
Ensure accuracy and timely submission of documentation
Communicate and pass on pertinent information
Monitor and detect suspicious behavior
Assist in prevention of vandalism
Warn violators of infractions
Respond to calls of distress
Contact local first responders
Identify and report concerns
Ensure all rules/regulations are enforced
Perform other duties as determined by management

Ideal candidates will have previous experience as a security officer, security guard, and/or other safety and protection related fields, including customer service roles. Marksman Security Corporation is accepting applications for a Security Officer in an active and engaging atmosphere. This job entails engaging with the public and responding to any and all calls for service in public right of way. You will be working with a team and supported by a leadership team that sets clear expectations and will help you to succeed and grow. Applicants need to be able and willing to work weekends, evenings and holidays, if needed. Must have a current valid Texas Level II Guard License. Be able and willing to conduct extended foot patrols of the district area up to and including six hours. Must have a clean driving record.
