Must Have
High School Diploma or equivalent/relevant experience, certification or license, Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, ARDMS registered, CPR and BLS certification required
Nice to Have
Epic certification preferred
What You'll Do.
Perform routine and specialty sonographic procedures
Operate Ultrasound scanners and related equipment
Ensure diagnostic quality of all scans
Make preliminary interpretations of ultrasound examination
Check patient’s chart for ordered procedures
Acquire pertinent clinical information from patient
Assist physicians in performance of invasive procedures
Greet patients appropriately
Explain procedures to patients and nurses
Clean and maintain ultrasound equipment
Perform portable bedside examinations
Train co-workers and students
Participate in quality improvement activities
Follow safety and infection control standards
Complete all required paperwork
Perform computer functions for reports and studies
