Full Job Description
**FULL TIME-DAYS** **About Corewell Health Wayne Hospital** Corewell Health Wayne Hospital opened its doors to western Wayne communities in 1957. This full-service hospital is the only hospital in the Wayne, Westland, Garden City, Canton, Inkster and Romulus area verified by the American College of Surgeons as a Level III Trauma Center. The hospital has a longstanding partnership with Detroit Metropolitan Airport and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to handle a wide variety of health and communicable disease concerns including mass trauma and emergency patients. **Scope of Work** Under the direction of the site designated leader, assigns and monitors the work of the Ultra sonographers to optimize quality and efficiency. Acts as a resource for ultrasound staff/department. Performs diagnostic ultrasounds and other related duties to ensure department policies and imaging standards are met. Follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times. **QUALIFICATIONS** * Required associate’s degree or equivalent Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound program or equivalent. * 3-5 years’ clinical experience Ultrasound staff sonographer level preferred. * Registered by American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). * Must be registered in at least one (ABD or OB/GYN) at time of hire. * Additional registry within 1 year from hire. * Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers at hire through the American Heart Association and/or the American Red Cross. ## How Corewell Health cares for you * Comprehensive benefits package to meet your financial, health, and work/life balance goals.
